To Retreat or Not to Retreat? That is the Question!

By: Charlotte O’Hara

From the Hill:  NationalRepublican Congressional Committee Chair Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) told House Republicans at a closed-door conference meeting Tuesday morning that members should opt for tele-town halls or live streamed events that can reach more people, rather than in-person town halls that can be hijacked by Democratic activists.

This edict came after Senator Roger Marshall(R-Ks) held a town hall meeting in Oakley, Kansas, Saturday, March 1st which was interrupted by vocal Democrats. I vehemently disagree with Mr. Hudson!!!!  Running from bullies is not a strategy, it’s an act of cowardice. My opinion:  doubledown, hold more town halls, this will simply showcase the “Soros” Democrat leftists’ bad behavior.  Run from them and they will declare victory.

In the horse world, the horse which makes the other horse move their hooves wins…we Republicans cannot allow the Soros’ leftists Democrat activists to make us “move our feet” by hiding.

When holding town hall meetings, we Republicans may have to request the county sheriff be present to protect the attendees, but let the Democrats scream, let them protest, let them fully display their opposition to the Trump Administration finding billions of waste and fraud.  Let them oppose DOGE nvestigating Social Security benefits to those over 112.

According to Fox News:  In 2015, the SSA and its inspector general looked into the number of people in the system with no death record who were listed as being over the ageof 112. SSA found 6.5 million number holders aged 112 or older with no death information in the system, but noted that other records suggested the majority of them were deceased. (My emphasis and DUH!!!!!)

Let the Democrats protest the following contracts found by Doge:

  1.   $1.5 million slated to “advance diversity, equity and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities”
  1.   $70,000 program for a “DEI musical” in Ireland
  1.    $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia
  1.   $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru
  1.   $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala

These are hard-earned tax dollars paid by Kansans and the rest of America. Don’t retreat, shine the light, have TV stations at the ready and bring your own videographer and then post the video to showcase the outrageously rude and obnoxious behavior of leftist Democrats.

This is a battle, and it’s just beginning.
