Meet my family…

Growing up on a farm taught me great lessons that helped shape who I am today!

I was raised in Bourbon County, about 15 miles from the farm where my great-grandparents, John and Harriett O’Hara, settled in 1869, I learned the value of hard work at an early age. I milked cows by hand, drove wheat trucks to Uniontown, Bronson and Hammond.  I watched my mother keep the farm’s books and accompanied my father to the sale barn in Fort Scott. Those experiences instilled in me the values of faith, grit, personal responsibility and hard work that continue to guide my life today.

I graduated from the University of Kansas (don’t worry—my oldest son and daughter both graduated from K-State with engineering degrees). I was a general contractor building homes in Johnson County for over 20 years and I homeschooled my two youngest children. Currently, with my two sons we have a small manufacturing company in Olathe. Also I am a member of the Saint Michael’s Parish in Johnson County.

During COVID, I served on the Johnson County Commission, where I stood firmly against government overreach. I refused to wear a mask, declined the COVID vaccine and opposed the closure of schools and businesses. I have also served in the Kansas House of Representatives, as Republican Chairwoman for the 3rd District and as a precinct committeewoman.

I would be honored to earn your support as a proven conservative committed to restoring Kansas to its promise by defending life, protecting property rights, promoting education instead of indoctrination, ensuring election integrity and embracing the free market while ending corporate welfare.

God bless you all.
