I am currently reading America’s God and Country by William J. Federer. I came across this letter from Abigail Adams to her husband, John Adams, written June 18, 1775:
“Charlestown is laid in ashes. The battle began upon our entrenchments upon Bunker’s Hill, Saturday morning about 3 o’clock, and has not ceased yet, and it is now three o’clock Sabbath afternoon. It is expected they will come out over the Neck tonight, and a dreadful battle must ensue. Almighty God, cover the heads of our countrymen, and be a shield to our dear friends….”
This is a snapshot of the sacrifice our forefathers and mothers made to establish our great nation.
Now to our battle to Make America and Kansas Great Again:
- We must stop indoctrination in our schools. Social Emotional Learning (WOKE/DEI agenda) is cheating our children out of a quality education and poisoning their minds with Marxist atheism.
- We must stop the out-of-control property tax increases. This is the number one issue I hear about as I travel across Kansas. In Johnson County on August 21st, more than 200 taxpayers attended a public hearing opposing higher property taxes. Yet, in cruel indifference, the six Democrats voted YES. The lone Republican commissioner voted NO.
- We must stop corporate welfare. Both Republicans and Democrats are handing out tax incentives to billionaires. Every corporate handout increases YOUR taxes. In De Soto, Johnson County, the latest heist is a $50 BILLION Industrial Revenue Bond package for an energy-guzzling AI data center—stretching out over 50 years.
- We must stop the cheat. In Johnson County, the registration rate is 102% of eligible residents. Nothing to see here? Meanwhile, Secretary of State Scott Schwab is slow-walking his response to the Trump Administration’s DOJ request for Kansas voter roll information. Let’s not forget: Schwab ordered the destruction of Johnson County’s 2020 ballots—part of an ongoing investigation by Sheriff Hayden. Even after Attorney General Kris Kobach requested that the ballots not be destroyed, they were destroyed in February 2024.
The WOKE/DEI agenda in our schools, runaway tax incentives that drive up YOUR property taxes and broken election integrity—these are the reasons I am running to be YOUR next Governor.
But I need your help. To qualify for the Kansas GOP debate on January 30, 2026, in Wichita, I must secure 800 individual contributions of at least $100 each.
