This is unbelievable!!!! The Kansas GOP has announced that it will support whoever wins the Republican gubernatorial primary — including pro-abortion and pro-gun control candidate Vicki Schmidt. Here is the official statement from the Kansas GOP website (as of October 4, 2025): “Support the KSGOP today and don’t forget to chip in to your favorite candidate in the primary. Let’s make sure our side is ready, no matter which Republican is on the general election ballot.” Really? “No matter which Republican”? Here’s the truth about Vicki Schmidt’s record:
The so-called “party unity contract” that Republican leadership demanded I sign to participate in the January 30, 2026 debate included this clause: “Agree to support the eventual Republican nominee for the Office of Kansas Governor.” That means even if the nominee is pro-abortion and anti-Second Amendment, every Republican candidate must pledge their support. This is a betrayal of the foundational tenets of OUR Republican Party — Life and the Second Amendment. Now is the time for the grassroots to speak up and stop this dangerous scheme in the name of “party unity.” 👉 Email the Kansas Republican Party and tell them this is NOT acceptable: https://kansas.gop/contact-us-2/ I am the only candidate standing up against this “unity” agreement that would turn the Kansas GOP into the Democrat Party—Pro-Death and Pro-Gun Control.
